Guest
I saw your helpful website and thought you may be able to offer me some advice on which sticker to use over the lens of my replacement safety lamp. I am a Registered Electrician who is replacing a safety lamp at a nearby club which has been vandal damaged. The location of the light is outside immediately above the main entrance door to the club. The existing damaged light did not have a sticker on the lens but I believe it should have had! The 2 labels supplied with the new Extera Lamp I've just purchased, are shown in the attachment. I think the bottom sticker is the one to use - any advice please??
Garry Webster
If the existing light is outside of the building, it is not a fire exit sign but an emergency light to provide light in the immediate area in front of the door in case of a power cut. It does not require a sticker. In general (not applicable in this case): you would need three of the four elements you were supplied: 1) A door symbol 2) The little man running towards it 3) A directional sign between man and door pointing to your actual escape door
