Hi I recently bought an Ei175 Smoke Alarm Stystem for the deaf and hard of hearing.

There is a fault on the mains green light sometimes the light will be on but other times off and sometime even flashing.

Please coukld you advise us if this is a problem with the alarm? My wife and I are both deaf. My wife is worried now because in the night when we go to sleep we are not suer if the alarm is functioning properly.

I would be grateful if you could let me know if this is a problem and if it can be rectified?

would you be able to tell me if the origional 3 pin plug is still on the Ei175 system or if it has been changed. A problem such as this could be caused by a loose connection if the plug has been changed.

Also would you be ale to try the system in a different plug socket in the house to see if the problem stops, this will eliminate the possibility that bthe socket couldbe causing the problem.
