Guest Posted May 19, 2009 Report Share Posted May 19, 2009 Hi I recently bought an Ei175 Smoke Alarm Stystem for the deaf and hard of hearing. There is a fault on the mains green light sometimes the light will be on but other times off and sometime even flashing. Please coukld you advise us if this is a problem with the alarm? My wife and I are both deaf. My wife is worried now because in the night when we go to sleep we are not suer if the alarm is functioning properly. Garry Webster Posted May 19, 2009 Report Share Posted May 19, 2009 Hi would you be able to tell me if the origional 3 pin plug is still on the Ei175 system or if it has been changed. A problem such as this could be caused by a loose connection if the plug has been changed. Also would you be ale to try the system in a different plug socket in the house to see if the problem stops, this will eliminate the possibility that bthe socket couldbe causing the problem.
