Fire doors and locks

Recommended Posts

I live in a block of flats which has 3 main entrances at the front of the building. There are 2 corridors on the ground floor which lead to reception areas and I live at the end of one of these corridors. At either end of the corridor, there are fire doors and to change the flow of walking traffic late at night I am in discussions with the managing agent of my block to see if any solution can be found.

Would it be possible to fix keypads with emergency exit latches a bit like the below in that sort of arrangement?

Both fire doors lead to the reception areas where the external exits are located.

Thanks in advance!
