Guest AnthonyGr Posted March 23, 2015 Report Share Posted March 23, 2015 Hello. I have a lounge with a very tall ceiling. Beside is a kitchen with a low ceiling. Therefore there is an attic room above the kitchen to make up for the height difference. I would like to convert this attic into a room. It would need a staircase coming down into the lounge. Is it possible to install this staircase without boxing it in as long as i have a fire alarm system with sensors in every room?
